My name is Madison Davidson.
I guess I’ll start with the mundane task of giving you random facts about myself. I grew up in Dallas, TX. I was your everyday wannabe cowgirl. My parental guidance consisted of a fiery redhead and a bald dreamer. My parents were and are madly in love. They are the couple from Christmas with the Cranks.
I have three sisters–Mackenzie, Morgan, and Malorie. My parents both have a speech impediment that only allows them to pronounce their children’s names if they start with an “M”. This of course was to their disadvantage.
I grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Yes, the stereotypes are true. Mormons are addicted to service and chocolate. Growing up in this Church has effected so much of my outlook on life, including marriage and family.
That is some of what I wanted to write about on this fake blog. I am currently enrolled in Marriage Preparation at Brigham Young University. I want to record the information and thoughts I have throughout this course so that I can refer to it in the future. We are all seeking connection. Our connection to others has a direct correlation with our overall happiness. I want to be happy. Therefore, I want to do everything I can to know how to best connect with those around me–especially the one person I would be spending the rest of eternity with.
So here it goes…
